uneventful morning. woke up way too early to get a rental car back across town, took the longest bus ride ever to "experience" public transportation, and erin found an apartment!!, i know its far from a house but it is in the pearl district and close to everything which is what she wanted.....not what i wanted.....so i will be getting a sweet murphy bed for my pain and heartbreak and suffering. thank you for your tears...
also odd as it sounds, there are lsu and redskin fans in portland, or. strange. i am happy. today we went to and thoroughly enjoyed the city bar. sports sports sports. i am happy. we watched the game with new friends in the vip room upstairs with our own big screen and our own small bar. we also now know the owner of this bar. i am happy.it was weird waking up at 8 o'clock and college game day was already on.. i was not happy, but i got over it quickly...i didnt have to wait till 11 o'clock..so i became happy again.
lsu won today, saturday was good... tomorrow is sunday which means i will be getting up at 9 to catch the pregame and the city bar will open at ten in the morning for kickoff. i will not be happy but as proven today i should get over it quickly.

good to see you two may have found an apartment, that means i may have a couch (however they pronounce it in oregon) to sleep on for thanksgiving! my little traveling heart is so jealous right now. i wanna run away somewhere too! : )
nice writing son! glad you two found a place. people my age love the idea of having a murphy bed somewhere in the house, however...I will say a prayer for your back Rickie.
It all reads well and fun.
